Well, already there has been a development that may affect our process: it looks like we'll need to make sure to pack some lanterns, flashlights, lots of batteries, and maybe a small generator, huh? (This was posted after I had learned of some interruptions in electrical service in Costa Rica)
For what it's worth, I remember back in the 70's and 80's, down in Chihuahua, Mexico, they had not only curtailed hours of electricity, but water rationing as well. People invested in huge tanks that were placed on rooftops, so that they could hoard water against the many hours per day that there was none available. And, they just learned to live with limited electricity. This, too, shall pass, folks, and they will restore full electricity in time, but it will obviously cost more than it used to cost.
